As We Stumble Along

Well it’s here. ONE MONTH until the big day!! I’m kinda surprised I had time to post about this. Things are very hectic and I thought I’d give you a snapshot in the life of a DIY (do-it-yourself) bride. Plus, I’d like to lay out all my tasks so that I can see what I have to do.

My checklist for the month (in no particular order):

- Design ceremony
- Decoration: pomanders (see below)
- Decorations: table musicals
- Decoration: photo table
- Decoration: playbill table
- Photo booth: masks
- Seating chart
- Guestbook design
- Transportation: guests and get-away car
- Decide a wedding hairstyle
- Get marriage license (!!!)
- Rehearsal dinner plans (?)
- Ceremony programs
- Get garter
- Order favors
- Finalize playlists
- Final payments to vendors

Ok, I know there’s more. I should have titled this the checklist for the next 2 weeks. And this doesn’t even include all of the (20 or so) tasks that I charged Arthur with – that he is actually receptive of!
